John Bladek grew up in Washington State (named for a dead president, but not haunted by him). The first story he remembers reading was a tale of two boys who grant a ghost’s last wish to have his bones properly buried. He also listened to ghost stories on the radio and snuck into the basement to watch scary TV shows. Every day in 3rd grade he visited a haunted house. Since then, John earned a PhD in History, where all ghosts come from. He’s the author of two humorous middle grade novels, Roll Up the Streets, Winterbay Abbey, and Lost in Ghostville.
